Job summary
Tire Discounters is seeking a Service Technician to perform tire installation, maintenance, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostics, drivability, and routine services across our shop locations. You will be essential to daily operations and customer satisfaction, working in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.
The role requires 2+ years of automotive repair experience, own tools, and ability to handle lifts and diagnostic equipment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of automotive repair experience (ASE certifications preferred but not required).
- Must have own tools (tool purchase program available).
- Ability to operate automotive vehicle lifts, shop tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner experience a plus).
- Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and availability to work Saturdays.
- Authorized to work in the USA (18+).
Responsibilities
- Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety.
- Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and assist as needed.
