Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles. You will learn hands-on under experienced techs, perform scheduled maintenance, and assist customers by explaining repair procedures and delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting.

The role offers a sign-on bonus of $1,000 and a flat-rate pay structure. Pay range reflects regional rates and may vary by work and experience. ASE certifications encouraged and supported.

Qualifications

Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
Valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services.
Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
Install batteries and check electrical systems.
Perform tire maintenance.
Install parts.
Road test vehicles.
Pursue ASE certifications within two years of employment (fees paid by company; bonus for each test passed).
