Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will learn and perform basic maintenance, inspections, tire repair, electrical checks, and parts installation under guidance from experienced technicians.

The role offers paid training, eligibility for ASE certifications, and a competitive flat-rate pay structure. A valid driver's license is required, with opportunities to advance into ASE credentialing and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform oil changes, inspections, tire repairs.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes and basic inspections.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Aim to obtain or maintain ASE certifications within the first two years of employment (tests/fees paid by company).
