Job summary

Mark's Automotive is hiring an Automotive Technician for its West Monroe and Monroe, Louisiana locations. This full-time role offers a Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. schedule with a tiered pay scale from $32,000 to $80,000 per year, plus production-based bonuses and onboarding benefits.

You will perform maintenance and repairs on cars and light-duty trucks, diagnose issues, inspect vehicles, and collaborate with a team in a supportive, growth-focused shop environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of shop experience; automotive experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive technical certifications are a plus.
• Comfortable using automotive tools, equipment, and systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn new automotive tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on cars and light-duty trucks.
• Diagnose automotive issues and determine reliable repair solutions.
• Perform vehicle inspections to identify service and repair needs.
• Use automotive tools, equipment, and systems to complete assigned work.
• Apply problem-solving skills to automotive diagnostics and repairs.
