Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician to learn and perform basic vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance under supervision. You will participate in routine inspections, assist in repairs, and communicate with customers about procedures and timelines.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and delivering quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting. Compensation uses a flat-rate model with regional productivity considerations.

Qualifications

• Be able to learn basic mechanical tasks and drive company vehicles.
• Possess a valid driver’s license at all times and use it for customer/company vehicles.
• Understand typical automotive maintenance including oil changes, inspections, tire repairs.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company pays tests/fees.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles and ensure proper operation.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years with company support.
