Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician within Bridgestone Retail Operations' automotive service team.

You will learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, under guidance of experienced technicians. This entry-level role emphasizes hands-on training, inspections, and customer communication, with a performance-based pay model; pay range reflects regional variation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver’s license required at all times.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Aim to obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least one of A1–A8 within first two years (fees covered by company; tests may have bonus).
