Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our on-site service team. You will learn and perform engine, electrical, steering and brake service with guidance from senior technicians, delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, ASE certification support, and a path to develop solid foundations in automotive repair while contributing to our nationwide service network.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience or vocational training; ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and repair.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent training within first two years of employment.
