Job summary

Jiffy Lube International in Oak Lawn, IL is seeking an Automotive Technician to service vehicles, perform brake and engine diagnostics, and conduct road tests to ensure top quality. You will use standard shop software to estimate parts and labor and deliver excellent guest experiences.

The role requires 1–3 years of automotive experience, brake system knowledge, and ASE certification(s) preferred. Training and uniforms provided; benefits and company incentives are available.

Qualifications

• 1-3 Years of Automotive Experience.
• 1-2 Years of Experience working on Brake Systems.
• ASE A5 Brakes certification preferred.
• ASE certifications in Engine performance, Suspension & Steering, Electrical Systems, Heating & Air Conditioning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete disc or drum brake service and related repairs.
• Diagnose and pinpoint issues in braking systems.
• Diagnose engine, suspension, electrical, and HVAC problems and perform needed repairs.
• Use shop software to provide estimates for parts and labor.
• Road-test vehicles before and after service to ensure quality.
