Job summary

Meineke Car Care Centers, Inc. is seeking an automotive technician to perform basic maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements, while upholding Meineke's high standards.

You will assist experienced technicians, follow safety guidelines, document services, and communicate with customers about repairs and costs. Prior auto repair experience preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment used in automotive repair.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines while handling tools and vehicle systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and assist in basic repairs on brakes, suspension, and exhaust systems.
• Maintain accurate service records including parts used, labor hours, and vehicle conditions.
• Collaborate with senior technicians to communicate issues, repair recommendations, and costs to customers.
• Uphold commitment to customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
