Meineke in Mesa is seeking an automotive technician to perform routine maintenance and assist in diagnostics. You will work with experienced technicians to communicate vehicle issues and recommendations, while upholding high-quality workmanship.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and accurate record-keeping, with ongoing training and opportunities for growth within a locally owned Meineke shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience or technical training in automotive repair is preferred.

• Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.

• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment used in automotive repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.

• Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines while handling tools and vehicle systems.
•  
• Conduct routine inspections and assist in basic repairs on brakes, suspension, exhaust, and other components.

• Maintain accurate service records including parts used, labor hours, and vehicle conditions.

• Collaborate with senior technicians and service advisors to communicate issues, repair recommendations, and estimated costs.
