Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. seeks an Automotive Technician to join our BSRO service team in Nashville. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under supervision, with opportunities to grow technical skills through hands-on training and ASE certification support.

The position offers a path to ASE progression, including paid training, and the chance to contribute to a fast-paced service environment with a strong safety and quality culture.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services including oil changes.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Aim to obtain or maintain ASE certifications within the first two years of employment; tests and fees paid by the company.
