Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States seeks an Automotive Technician to join our service team, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under guidance from experienced technicians with hands-on learning and customer interaction.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, a valid driver's license, and ability to perform oil changes, tire service and inspections. ASE certifications are encouraged and funded by the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within first two years (fees paid by company).
