Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations seeks an Automotive Technician to join our service team in a fast-paced shop environment. You will learn and perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on vehicles under experienced guidance.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality workmanship while interacting with customers to explain repairs and answer questions. Competitive, regionally adjusted pay reflects flat-rate mechanics.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes.
• Basic inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience; ASE certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and repair.
• Road test vehicles.
• Assist in obtaining ASE certifications within two years.
