Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under the supervision of senior technicians. You will participate in routine inspections, assist in repair procedures, and communicate with customers about repairs.

The position emphasizes a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. Pay range is $18.38–$27.62 per hour, with flat-rate compensation and opportunities to earn based on

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
• ASE certification or equivalent training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within first two years of employment; tests/fees covered by company; bonuses for tests passed.

Skills
