Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician for our Auto Service centers in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will gain hands-on experience diagnosing technical issues and delivering outstanding service with a mechanical aptitude.

You'll work with brakes, alignments, diagnostics, and routine maintenance, while learning new automotive technologies. We offer training, opportunities for advancement, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of automotive experience (brake repairs, fluid flushes, preventive maintenance)
• Valid driver’s license; must be at least 18
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics and tire installation
• Document all work performed on the repair order and maintain records
• Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during operating hours
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Troubleshoot and diagnose vehicle issues and communicate findings clearly
• Maintain adherence to company policies for vehicle care and operation
