Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Automotive Technician in Fort Wayne, IN to inspect, diagnose, and repair complex automotive systems. You will use advanced diagnostic tools, mentor teammates, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Ideal candidates have at least three years in automotive repair or military vehicle maintenance, a valid driver's license, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. ASE A4/A5 certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of automotive repair experience or three years as a military vehicle maintenance specialist.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems.
• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills using the latest technology.
• Mentor teammates and continually learn new techniques as automotive technology evolves.
• Maintain high standards of safety, service, and housekeeping while using protective equipment.
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires/wheels and standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods
