Job summary

Secor Volvo Cars in New London seeks an Automotive Technician to join our growing team. The role involves maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, diagnosing issues, and delivering excellent customer service. A valid driver's license and clean record are required, with opportunities for training and advancement within the dealership.

The position offers an hourly wage range of $16.94–$30.00 with production bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree preferred but not required.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs including oil changes, tire rotations, brake work and sensor-related repairs.
• Diagnose vehicle systems and perform repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, braking and A/C systems.
• Prepare estimates and diagnose vehicle concerns accurately.
• Test parts and systems per dealership standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized and professional repair shop.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Provide a customer-centric experience to exceed expectations.
