Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our team at multiple U.S. auto service centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair complex automotive systems while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role offers a flat-rate schedule with a 75% hour guarantee and a comprehensive benefits package. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of repair experience or military vehicle maintenance, a valid license, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of automotive repair experience or 3 years in military vehicle maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work a flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Preferred: ASE A4 (Steering & Suspension) and A5 (Brakes), state inspection or MAC certification

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems
• Troubleshoot problems using the latest technology
• Mentor teammates and learn new techniques as automotive technology evolves
• Maintain high safety, service, and housekeeping standards with protective equipment
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires/wheels and standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods
