Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles across our U.S. auto service centers. This full-time, flat-rate role includes an hour guarantee and requires strong diagnostic skills and hands-on expertise.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of automotive repair or military vehicle maintenance, a valid driver's license, and ASE A4/A5 or MAC certifications. Flexible scheduling and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years automotive repair experience or equivalent military vehicle maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Preferred ASE certifications (A4 and A5), inspections license or MAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, A/C and cooling.
• Troubleshoot problems using up-to-date diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Mentor teammates and adapt to evolving automotive technology.
• Maintain safety, service, and housekeeping standards; use protective equipment.
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires and standing for extended periods.
