Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices – Automotive Mechanics is hiring a full-time Automotive Mechanic in the Marshall, TX area. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair brakes, suspension components, tires, and other undercar systems.

The position offers competitive weekly pay with incentive compensation, along with health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) with employer match. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent education/experience.
• Extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s); ASE Certifications (G1, A4, A5).
• Active position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and lifting items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair brakes, suspension components, and related undercar systems.
• Perform state-m mandated inspections.
• Change oil and filters, check fluids, and replace worn parts.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Assist with on-the-job training and pursue opportunities for career growth within the company.
