Job summary

Leeds West Groups is seeking a General Service Technician to uphold integrity, teamwork, and high standards in automotive service. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs using diagnostic tools, while communicating clearly with customers and coordinating with the team to ensure efficient service.

Ideal candidates have basic automotive knowledge, an unrestricted driver’s license, and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+
• Active and unrestricted driver’s license required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, filter replacements)
• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, safety needs
• Complete repairs and maintenance efficiently and accurately
• Use diagnostic equipment and manuals to troubleshoot issues
• Ensure work meets manufacturer specs and safety standards
• Run quality checks and test drives to verify repairs
• Communicate service recommendations and estimates to customers
• Collaborate with senior technicians and management to coordinate workflow
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
• Adhere to OSHA safety policies and company procedures
• Support store management and provide legendary customer service
• Perform other duties as assigned
