Job summary

Leeds West Groups is seeking a General Service Technician to join our automotive service team. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs while delivering excellent customer service.

You will use diagnostic tools and manuals to identify issues, ensure work meets safety and manufacturer standards, and communicate recommendations clearly to customers and management. A valid driver’s license and basic automotive knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of eighteen years.
• An active and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, filter replacements, and more.
• Assist with and conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify potential needs and safety concerns.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and computerized systems to diagnose problems effectively.
• Ensure all repair work meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards for quality and safety.
• Perform quality control checks and test-drive vehicles to verify repairs.
