Job summary

AAA Car Care is actively recruiting Automotive Service Technicians in the Chicago area to perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles for both members and non-members. You will be hands-on in a dynamic shop, handling services from oil changes to brake work, while learning from senior technicians.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or technical training, a valid driver’s license, and a mechanical mindset with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or technical school certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• G1 – Auto Maintenance & Light Repair preferred.
• State inspection certificate where applicable.
• AC 609 certification.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles into service bays and perform digital vehicle inspections.
• Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs such as oil changes, tire replacements, and brake services.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure proper vehicle delivery to customers.
• Keep the shop clean and organized to maintain a positive customer experience.
• Learn from senior technicians and advance your career.
