Randy Wise Automotive Team in Clio, Michigan is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our family-oriented shop. You will perform thorough inspections, service oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements, using diagnostic tools to identify electrical or mechanical issues.

The role requires Michigan mechanic certification, a valid driver's license, a personal toolkit, and 3+ years of hands-on shop experience. We value teamwork, safety, and ongoing training in a transparent work culture.

Qualifications

State of Michigan Mechanic Certification in applicable areas.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Three or more years of hands-on automotive shop experience.
Familiarity with modern diagnostic software and scanning tools.
Experience with foreign and domestic vehicle repair.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs.
Execute routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
Use diagnostic equipment to pinpoint complex electrical or mechanical issues.
Document all findings and repairs clearly to keep our service advisors and customers informed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency for everyone in the shop.
Collaborate with fellow technicians to solve difficult repair challenges as they arise.
