Randy Wise Automotive Team in Clio, Michigan, is seeking a skilled Automotive Tech to join our family-oriented shop. You will perform inspections, routine maintenance, and use diagnostic tools to identify complex issues, while documenting findings for service advisors and customers.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan Mechanic Certification in applicable areas.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Personal set of tools to perform standard automotive repairs.
• Three or more years of hands-on experience in an automotive shop.
• Familiarity with modern diagnostic software and scanning tools.
• Experience with foreign and domestic vehicle repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
• Use diagnostic equipment to pinpoint complex electrical or mechanical issues.
• Document all findings and repairs clearly to keep our service advisors and customers informed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency for everyone in the shop.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to solve difficult repair challenges as they arise.
