Job summary
Beaman GMC, part of Hudson Automotive Group, is seeking a GM Master Technician to join our high-volume service team in Antioch, TN. You will diagnose and repair complex drivability issues, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems, using factory diagnostics and procedures.
This is a flat-rate hourly role offering $50-60 per hour, production bonuses, training, and growth into leadership. Qualified candidates have GM Master Technician Certification, 5+ years of shop experience, and a valid
Qualifications
- Current or previous GM Master Technician Certification required.
- 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience.
- Strong diagnostic, drivability, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability to efficiently produce high-quality flat-rate hours.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Commitment to quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
- Perform advanced diagnostics on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
- Utilize GM diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.
- Complete customer-pay and warranty repairs per manufacturer specs.
- Assist with difficult diagnostics and support fellow technicians.
- Communicate repair recommendations with Service Advisors.
- Maintain high productivity and quality workmanship.
- Stay current on GM service bulletins and new tech.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

- Completing customer-pay and warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications

- Participating in ongoing GM manufacturer training and certification programs

- Current or previous GM Master Technician Certification

- Strong diagnostic, drivability, and electrical troubleshooting skills
