gines auto service is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our busy repair shop. As an Auto Mechanic, you will diagnose and repair issues affecting vehicle performance and function while maintaining shop equipment and preparing cost estimates.

The ideal candidate will communicate clearly with customers, explain vehicle issues, and offer actionable advice to ensure reliable service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program preferred.
• ASE or SAE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles in the shop.
• Perform routine maintenance like tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
• Conduct thorough inspections of engine, transmission, and brakes.
• Create repair estimates and timelines for customers.
• Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
