Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an Automotive Technician to learn and perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on vehicles under supervision. You will interact with customers, explain repair procedures, and contribute to a fast-paced service team focused on quality workmanship.

This role offers a flat-rate pay structure with potential bonuses and opportunities for ASE certification, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes, Basic inspections, Repairing tires.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment; company pays tests and provides bonus for each passed.
