Job summary

Goodyear is hiring a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in Auto Service centers across the nation. The role focuses on diagnosing issues, performing brake repairs, and delivering outstanding guest service while adhering to safety standards.

The position requires at least 1 year of automotive experience, a valid driver’s license, and legal work authorization in the United States. ASE certification and strong problem-solving are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and brake repairs.
• Document all work performed on the repair order and maintain accurate records.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior automotive technicians and contribute to team goals.
• Promote teamwork to deliver timely service and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and report issues to management.
• Demonstrate clear communication with guests about vehicle status and repairs.
