Empire Automotive Group Nissan of Hillside is looking for an Automotive Lube Technician. We provide a great opportunity for technicians to advance their careers with state-of-the-art shop equipment, continuing education, and factory training. Your Daily Work Schedule

• Checks and communicates oil level to teammates.
• Ensures tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Inspects and refills fluid levels as necessary.
• Completes vehicle inspection.
• Installs a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
• Cleans and lubricates fittings as needed.

Qualities We’re Looking For

• Experience at an automotive dealership.
• Strong understanding of the service drive.
• Years of experience vary per position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude along with a customer service mentality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
