Lube Technician Position Overview

Starting salary: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour

Employee signing bonus: $300 (paid bi-weekly bonus)

Responsibilities of a Lube Technician

• Drain motor oil, change oil filter, grease chassis fittings
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Assist customers in selecting oil types and services
• Process payments for services
• Perform coolant exchanges and fill services
• Restock and maintain inventory levels

Important Information Before You Start

• Initial training may feel intensive; a strong knowledge of oils and services is essential.
• Ability to maneuver in a shallow 3-foot deep pit used for vehicle maintenance is required.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Work may be in hot or cold weather conditions.
• Always stay alert and aware of surroundings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation is required.
