Job summary

Midas | Leeds West Groups in Chicago, IL is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform repair and maintenance for cars and light trucks. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair using modern tools while delivering legendary customer service.

The role requires strong integrity, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards; prior automotive tech experience and high school diploma preferred; ASE certifications are a plus. This full-time, onsite position travels locally as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical training preferred.
• ASE or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum of one year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify needs and safety concerns.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks including engine and brake repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and manuals to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and longevity.
• Communicate repair recommendations and provide estimates to customers.
