Job summary

Midas 591 is seeking automotive technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles. The role involves independent work with periods of collaboration, using ASE-certified expertise and a broad range of equipment in a full-service shop.

Responsibilities include diagnostics with advanced computer systems, tire and brake work, HVAC, steering and suspension, and routine inspections. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential for success in our busy Grand Rapids facility.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications or equivalent repair experience.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics.
• Experience with shop equipment: lifts, tire equipment, aligners, scan tools.
• High safety and environmental standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Use state-of-the-art computer systems for diagnostics.
• Handle tires, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling, and exhaust services.
• Ensure visual safety and courtesy inspections.
