Job summary

Sun Devil Auto in Phoenix (part of the Sun Auto Network) is seeking an Automotive Technician / Mechanic to diagnose and repair customer vehicles in accordance with MAP guidelines and dealership standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicles, performing multi-point inspections, explaining repairs to customers, documenting recommendations, and following safety procedures.

ASE certifications should be current or renewed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer ASE certification or active pursuit of ASE certs.
• Must be 18 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certification/experience level.
• Performs work as outlined on the MPI/Repair Order with accuracy.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Recommends necessary services and documents recommendations.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals as needed.
