Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Automotive Technician / Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles to dealership/ manufacturer standards. The role offers competitive compensation based on experience and benefits including insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to work Mon–Sat, and ASE certification or equivalent training. Safety and quality are emphasized at all times within MAP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one unexpired ASE or equivalent training/experience.
• Able to work Monday–Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to applicable certifications and experience.
• Performs work as outlined on inspection and repair orders with accuracy.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Recommends services to keep vehicles in running condition and documents recommendations.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains ASE certifications as needed.
