Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, explain findings to customers, and document all recommendations while following MAP and company standards.

Responsibilities include efficient work per repair orders, maintaining safety, and keeping ASE certifications current. Benefits include ongoing training, advancement opportunities, and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Possess current, valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.
• Must be able to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to appropriate certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-technical staff and customers.
• Recommends services to keep the vehicle running and documents recommendations.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to management.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals.
