Job summary

Sullivan Tire & Auto Service is hiring an Automotive Technician to independently perform vehicle repairs and tire service with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include mounting, balancing tires, brake and steering work, safety inspections, and accurate repair estimates, using VAST and automotive PC programs. A high school diploma and 1–3 ASE certifications are expected, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with 1-3 ASE certifications; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Mount/dismount, balance, and repair tires on passenger and light trucks.
• Perform lube/oil/filter changes for domestic and foreign cars.
• Perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, alignment, and light tuners using automotive tools and software.
• Produce accurate repair estimates for customer vehicles.
• Collaborate with store management to meet productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards.
• Maintain safety and environmental standards; keep area clean and waste disposed properly.
• Explain repairs and their value to customers and staff clearly.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assume other responsibilities as needed.
