Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Nashville, TN seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under guidance of senior techs. You will learn hands-on with various systems, assist customers by explaining repairs, and contribute to timely, quality workmanship in a fast-paced shop.

The role offers hands-on learning, opportunities for ASE certifications, and a sign-on bonus; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
Valid driver's license required.
Understanding of basic automotive maintenance including oil changes, inspections and tire repair.
Basic reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance.
Inspect steering, suspension and brake systems.
Install batteries and check electrical systems.
Perform tire maintenance.
Install parts.
Road test vehicles.
Aim to obtain ASE certifications within two years; fees paid by company; bonus for each test passed.
