Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Nashville, TN, seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles under supervision. You will learn hands-on tasks, perform routine inspections, and interact with customers to explain repairs while delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting.

The role offers flat-rate pay ($17.50–$26.30 per hour), opportunities for ASE certification, on-the-job training, and benefits starting day one for eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes Basic inspections Repairing tires Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within first two years of employment (fees paid by company).
