The starting pay for this position is $24.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Selected candidates may be eligible for benefits including medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, sick and vacation time, and tire discounts.

As an Automotive Technician, Goodyear offers:

• ASE Reimbursement with Pay Increases (including brakes, electrical, AC and heating, engine performance, engine repair)

• Flat Rate role with a 75% guarantee (30 hours booked per week)

In this role, you will:

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services professionally, ensuring excellent guest experience
• Mentor and learn about new automotive technologies in a rapidly evolving industry
• Work effectively within a team environment

**Responsibilities include:**

• Troubleshooting problems and demonstrating strong diagnostic skills
• Inspecting, repairing, and diagnosing systems such as brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, and air conditioning
• Continuously updating technical knowledge through formal training
• Maintaining standards of sales, service, safety, and cleanliness
• Performing manual tasks, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting

**Basic Requirements:**

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license
• At least three years of automotive repair experience, including diagnosis and problem-solving
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• ASE A4 Certification in Steering and Suspension
• ASE A5 Certification in Brakes
• State inspection licenses and/or MAC certification

**Additional Considerations:**

• Flexible schedule to meet operational needs, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to use diagnostic technology and applications
• Ability to recommend products based on manufacturing guidelines
