Job summary

PNM Albuquerque seeks a skilled maintenance mechanic to perform complete maintenance, overhaul, and repair of vehicles including engines, transmissions, hydraulic units, and electrical systems. A Class A CDL is required, and all work must comply with DOT standards and safety rules.

Responsibilities include prioritizing job work orders, ordering parts, maintaining records of materials and repairs, operating welders and power tools, and performing body repairs and paint touch-ups as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, overhaul, and repair of vehicles including engines, transmissions, hydraulic units, and electrical systems
• Prioritize and schedule repair work orders; maintain records of parts and work performed
• Disassemble/assemble engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials; diagnose mechanical failures
• Use welding, body repair, painting touch-ups and related tools; maintain shop facilities and safety practices
