Job summary

Flash Automotive in Albuquerque seeks a skilled auto mechanic to join our growing shop. You will inspect vehicles, diagnose engine and system issues, perform maintenance, and complete repairs with a focus on quality and safety. Qualifications

• Must have own tools to perform repairs.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of automotive service tech program is a plus.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Experience with electronic systems maintenance and repair.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Physical strength to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Examine cars based on requests or concerns.
• Perform basic maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotation, and fluid checks.
• Repair or replace worn parts and systems (spark plugs, bearings, brakes, fuel systems, sensors).
• Follow checklist to ensure thorough examination of all parts and systems.
• Identify mechanical and electrical problems with manual/computerized diagnostic tools.
• Present estimates with explanations to service writer.
• Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
