CarMax in West Point, VA is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to CarMax standards. You’ll work with a collaborative team using advanced tools in a climate-controlled facility to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.

The role offers growth through ongoing training and exposure to domestic and foreign vehicles, with a focus on customer satisfaction and trust. A new hire bonus up to $5,000 is available for eligible applicants.

Formación

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems, based on the needs of the role.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Where required by State/Local law, maintain ASE Certifications (A4), (A5), (A7), (A6), (A1), (A3), (A8), and (A2).
