Job summary

Lexus of Omaha is seeking a skilled automotive technician to perform diagnostics, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of vehicle systems in our modern service facility. You will identify mechanical and electrical concerns, test drive vehicles, and collaborate with service advisors to ensure quality work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle
• Associates degree in Automotive preferred but not required
• ASE certifications preferred but not required
• At least 1+ years experience as a technician

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of vehicle systems
• Identify mechanical and electrical concerns using proper diagnostic procedures
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while meeting dealership quality standards
• Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify concerns are resolved
• Work closely with advisors and teammates to ensure clear communication and smooth workflow
• Stay current on new technology and repair procedures through ongoing training
