Job summary

Winrock Automotive Group in Arkansas seeks an Automotive Technician to maintain, inspect, and repair vehicles within the service bay. You will provide accurate information to the service manager and service advisors about vehicles processed for the business.

The role requires performing repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance to dealership and factory standards, communicating with parts and service teams, and continuously updating technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair, multi-point inspection, and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing
• Communicate with parts department and service advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the Customer
• Make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of customer vehicles
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order
• Maintain an inventory of normal technician's tools not normally inventoried by the service department as special tools
• Keep aware of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality work as needed
• Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work
• Comply with company safety policies and procedures
• Efficient and accurate work in accordance with dealerships and factory standards
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques
