Job summary

Winrock Automotive Group in Little Rock, AR seeks an Automotive Technician to maintain, inspect, and repair vehicles in the service bay. You will provide accurate vehicle information to the service manager and advisors involved in business processes.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, maintenance, and road-testing as needed. You will communicate with parts and service staff, document work, and stay current with factory bulletins and trainings, while upholding safety standards and professional

Qualifications

• 2+ years' automotive technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge in service for automotive technicians.
• ASE certification may be required, per role.
• Diagnostic, electrical and engine repair knowledge.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Ambitious, hardworking team player.
• Basic computer skills.
• Customer-service oriented demeanor.
• Ability to use electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Willingness to learn new repair procedures and specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair, inspection and maintenance per repair order.
• Complete system diagnostics and automotive troubleshooting.
• Communicate with parts dept and service advisors regularly.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized.
• Recommend safety and reliability improvements.
• Document work on repair orders.
• Maintain tools and inventory for shop use.
• Stay current with factory bulletins and trainings.
• Road-test vehicles to verify quality when needed.
• Coordinate status with service advisors; follow safety policies.
• Learn new techniques and participate in training as requested.
• May train or mentor coworkers; may ride with customers when allowed.
