Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is the nation’s leading automotive maintenance provider with 400+ locations across 21 states, offering fast oil changes, mechanical services, and tire care. The Automotive Technician, reporting to Store and Service Managers, performs maintenance, inspects vehicles, and troubleshoots issues to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The role requires tools, a valid license, and weekend availability.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years’ automotive service experience in a professional capacity.
ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
Must have technician tools.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer-service orientation and relationship-building.
Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.
Responsibilities
Perform basic to advanced car maintenance and repair tasks.
Inspect vehicles for potential problems and troubleshoot issues.
Provide service of the highest quality to customers.
Inspect, replace or repair defective parts and perform preventative maintenance.
Learn new technical information and techniques to stay current.
Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety standards.
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
Demonstrate company values in all customer interactions.
