Job summary

Round Rock Toyota is seeking a Full-time Flat Rate Technician to diagnose and repair vehicle components, ensuring work adheres to dealership and manufacturer standards. The role emphasizes accurate diagnostics, test drives, and maintaining shop organization in a busy automotive environment.

You will inspect and troubleshoot, handle engine and electrical repairs, document work performed, and collaborate with Service Advisors.

Responsibilities

Performs vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and testing to determine repairs.
Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to engine, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Assess vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is needed.
Verify serviceability and ensure quality repairs with test drives.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and keep customer vehicles clean.
Assist in writing work orders and communicating with customers.
Keep stock inventory up to date and verify parts receipt.
