Mercedes--benz-Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service department. You will perform maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work on vehicles to ensure peak performance and customer satisfaction. Technicians with German luxury experience are highly desirable, and all levels are welcome.

You will use diagnostic tools and manufacturer software to identify issues, perform tests, and document work. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and manufacturer diagnostics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks per manufacturer specs (oil changes, rotations, fluid flushes, filters).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on vehicles.
• Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify issues and troubleshoot efficiently.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to identify additional needs.
• Document work, parts, labor hours, and diagnostic findings clearly.
• Explain repairs and provide labor/parts estimates to customers and advisors.
• Mentor junior technicians and apprentices as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulatory standards; manage recalls/warranty work.
• Maintain compliance with disposal regulations for hazardous wastes.
• Keep up-to-date on manufacturer training and certifications.
