Job summary

Quirk Auto Dealers in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Service Technician for our busy Service Department. Compensation will be based on experience, with pay ranging from $20 to $50 per hour for full-time in-person work.

You will diagnose vehicle systems, test-drive vehicles, provide repair estimates to the Service Advisor, and stay current with recalls and new technology while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing and organizing work time and activities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Previous experience and certifications recommended.
• Ability to diagnose and communicate repair needs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to test vehicle components.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs.
• Diagnose automotive systems including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension etc.
• Provide service advisor with estimates for additional repairs.
• Stay current with technical bulletins, recalls, and new tech. innovations.
